It's so easy to get in a rut when you're a stay at home mom. It's easy to not shower daily, it's easy to not style your hair for days, and most of all it's easy to stay in comfy pants all day long.
I always feel bad being in comfy clothes when Tyler gets home so I usually change about a half hour before he arrives... ha!
I have decided to challenge myself to get dressed and make an effort to look presentable, even on days that I am not leaving the house. I know my husband appreciates it, and I always feel better when I do.
And in order to keep myself accountable, I decided to take pics and post them on my blog. I don't think anyone wants to see me in jammies, so this is good motivation. :)

my favorite TOMS :)
Yes, I wear my skinny jeans a lot. I love them, but they are too big on me (yay) so I'm looking for a new pair. Anyone have a favorite brand?
Any other SAHM's want to take on this challenge with me? :)
I can totally relate to this! It's amazing how many days I fail to do anything to myself. I would think I would have the most healthy, long and lucious hair since I rarely touch it (and sometimes fail to wash it for 2-3 days at a time). Am I gross? yeah, probably! But I wish to take on this challenge with you. I am ordering an iphone tomorrow when verizon comes out with it so I can start then! Great challenge and thanks for not making me feel like i'm the only one lounging out one to many days in a row!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add, your outfits are cute. I'm pretty sure we have similiar styles. I wear my skinny jeans and leggings all the time when I do get dressed (mostly also because nothing else fits)!
ReplyDeleteCute sister!! I love this idea-too bad I'm not a stay at home mom. :(
ReplyDeleteLOVE this post! and you are adorable. I especially love the hat as I'm having some hat addictions lately.
ReplyDeleteI might join the challenge as well :)
We have such a similar style! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI wanna join the challenge! I wear stretchy pants or jammies every day, ugh. It's even worse, now that Lisa is on maternity leave. ;) The other day I put on jeans and a nice long sleeve t-shirt and Adam asked me if I had a hot date. ;)
