The Nest, we play "rate my room", and just like it sounds, we rate eachother's different rooms. I always put up my living room for grabs and they kindly suggest things that would improve the look, and we go on our merry way. 10 times out of 10 I am told that I need a rug for under the coffee table and throw pillows to brighten up the room. While I 100% agree, spending hundreds of dollars on a rug just doesn't seem right to me. Here's a picture of our living room:

You need to check out Lowes. If you catch them at the right time, you can find an awesome deal. When we first moved into our house, my mom and I were are Lowes picking up some supplies and happened to come across an area rug on clearance for $45.00! You can't beat a deal like that!
ReplyDeleteAnd for throw pillows, check out Etsy. They have great pillows for less than you can get at Pottery Barn or even Target. ;)
Hey, have you ever checked Gordman's for rugs? I just got a BEAUTIFUL huge area rug there for under $100! It's HUGE! I will take a picture of my living room so you can see it. You might want to check there for a nice rug. Just a thought! I like your living room by the way! :D
