I am blessed.

I am beyond exhausted.  I even went to an online thesaurus trying to find a better word than exhausted, but nothing seems to really express how I'm feeling.  This past week was a blur - all I remember is working.  I put in almost 70 hours in the last 6 days, and while that will be nice once the paycheck comes, it's totally not worth it.  Working almost 12 hours a day isn't fun in any way, shape, or form. 

Yesterday afternoon after getting off work I joined 128 7th-12th grade students for our InHouse retreat at our church.  Let me just be honest for a second and say I was half tempted to not go.  After working so much the past week, spending the entire night with lots of highschool students didn't sound too appealing to me.  I set that aside and went, and of course am glad I did.  Last night was spent having incredible worship, spending time face down on my knees before my maker, and bonding with some incredible 8th grade girls.  We talked, played some guitar hero, laughed, and most importantly - spent time in the Word.  Oh yeah, and watched a movie that I fell asleep to, of course.  :)  These girls are some of the most amazing people I have ever met and I am so blessed to be their leader.  Even though I only got a couple hours of sleep and will definitely pay for it this next week as I work another 70 hour week... it was all worth it.  (By the way - there is light at the end of the tunnel.  I have 3 people hired and they start this week in training, and will be at my branch by the end of next week.  Yay!)

To my small group girls, if you're reading this.... thank you for being in my life and blessing me so incredibly much.
