The idea is to wrap your hair tightly around a elastic headband, go to sleep, and wake up with perfect hair!
I had my doubts, especially since I was blessed with hair that does not like to curl. Straight as a board.

as you can see it also stayed pretty well in the band overnight.

We are headed to a wedding with my Sister and her husband tonight {yay yay yay!} so we'll see how long these curls last, but for now I am all kinds of happy with them.

ReplyDeleteI do this all the time--it's my go-to! I usually spray my hair with a little hairspray at night and then again in the AM before I take the headband off, and they last all day (sometimes two). You can also play around with different sized headbands to get different sized curls!

ReplyDeleteCute! This turned out great! I have only tried it with short hair...definitely doesn't work! Haha! Have you ever tried the sock trick? I've heard that one works great too but I'm not sure what the length of hair needs to be for that one either. :)

ReplyDelete@Jen - the mark on my forehead only lasted for about 15 min or so... in the tutorial she tells you not to wear a tight headband, but I did because my hair does not hold curl well and I wanted it to be tight.
