I love weekends. Growing up I never used to like them because A.) Saturdays were work days, and at the Carmichael house, a work day was never fun... and B.) I liked school and being with friends, so being away for 2 days was pure torture. (notice I said torture because anytime anything didn't go my way, of course I was tortured.) hehe. ;)
Now that I'm an adult I love weekends because A.) I get to work on my house and catch up on things I was too lazy to do during the week, B.) I get to spend QT with my husband, and C.) I'm away from work...well, sometimes.
It was MAX this weekend in Olathe, which only means one thing... lots of nazarenes running around. It's always fun because I'm able to catch up with the Osky Naz youth group and see all the kids grown up. Spaghetti supper last night at the Birch's was fabulous, and then somehow I was tricked in to spend the rest of the evening at Nazarene Night at Worlds of Fun. I say I was tricked into it because it was 40 degrees out and rainy, so I obviously had no intentions of going. However, all of my sisters friends bailed on her, so I went and we had a great time despite the hypothermia that took place in both of our bodies. We spent the evening with Andy, Linz and Ashley and it seemed like we were laughing the entire night. We had a great time!
Today Ty & I slept in, I kicked my own butt at the gym, and now we're off to go house hunting. I will be back tonight with an update and hopefully some pictures! Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend!

I LOVE my weekends too! Lucky for me though, I get 3 day weekends! :D There is just something great about being able to clean my house and do the laundry on a Friday. I just really enjoy being home and cleaning. Then, once I have my house clean, I get time to enjoy stamping! :D It's wonderful! How exciting that MAX was this weekend. I am glad that you kept your little sis company! That was so sweet of you! I hope you have a terrific time house hunting! Nick and I are going to do some shopping this afternoon! I love and miss you girl! I'm excited to see some pics!
ReplyDeleteToo funny that you used to hate weekends! I hope the house hunting proved successful!
