Not-so-Wordless Wednesday.

Wednesdays I'm usually just posting a picture and calling it good for the day, but today I have to add something.
This morning my husband and baby were rear-ended sitting at a stoplight. Even though they both are okay, it has really shook me up. My heart just about stopped beating when Tyler called me to let me know... I am so thankful for God's protection over the situation and keeping them both safe. I seriously cannot even fathom what I would do if something would have happened to them.
I will just continue to pray for protection for today and the many days to come over both of their lives.

A few reasons I love fall...

- the crisp cool weather! which means sweaters, sweatshirts, and comfy clothes!
- a pumpkin spiced latte... makes any day better!
- football games
- spiced pumpkin candles burning all over my house
- hayrides
- all the trees changing leaf colors... it is beautiful!
- apple cider, and delicious cider donuts!
- a good excuse to bake - you can heat up the house without turning the heat on!
- jumping in the leaves!
- cute pictures of your baby with pumpkins, like these! :)






I am not usually one to decorate for the different seasons {besides christmas}, but my Mom bought Jaxon a pumpkin this year so I had to add a couple more to make a pumpkin family! :)

You've got mail.

Today I went out to the mailbox to get the mail. You know how it goes... you're flipping through and all you see is a bill..bill..flyer..ad..bill..bill..... but today there was special different in there. A card for me! Not for a special occasion or because it was my birthday, but just because a good friend of mine wanted to encourage me.
I don't know about you, but I am a card-lover. I love to give and receive cards... especially if they are mailed! How much better is it to receive a card in the mail than an email, even if they say the same exact thing.

So from now on I am going to try my hardest to mail a card to someone each week. Not just for special occasions, but just for fun. So there's my challenge for myself today. A random 'act' of kindness each week.
